Chaplain (aka DJ Omni, Tim Heil of Transform) was introduced to Dance Music in 1990 when he first heard a house music DJ mix on local radio station. He had been into house and techno music most of his teenage years, but his DJ journey did not officially began until 1998. After attending a rave with guest DJ Richard Vission, he knew he would use DJing and his love of dance music to share hope and bring joy to people he came in contact with. That year he bought his first set of turntables, spent countless hours at the record store and the rest is history.
Things began to take form In 2000 when he became a resident DJ for Denver based Liquid Soul Productions. In addition to DJing, he co-promoted number of raves and shows with friends at Soulhook Productions and later Tranceform Productions. Formed in 2002, Tranceform Productions provided all night warehouse parties in downtown Denver as a tool to connect with DJs and party goes in the dance music scene to share good news and hope.
Now, as Chaplain and as a continued part of Transform, Tim has had the opportunity to perform at clubs, music festivals, raves and shows across the country (including a performance at the world famous Red Rocks Amphitheater – home to Denver’s own Global Dance Festival). He (and Transform) has also had the privilege to play across the globe; performing in Mexico, Guatemala, England, Scotland, Germany, Switzerland, Finland and the Netherlands.
Tim is also the co-owner (with his wife Lorna) and “label boss” of Deeplife Records.
